Switzerland road-trip itinerary - Zürich, Ticino and Interlaken

Interlaken (the whole area plus nearby hot-spots), as well as Ticino and Zürich! This is where we'd spend a week or more when visiting Switzerland for the first time. In summer. There are of course many other options, for example further west (French part) as well as other villages and POI we would recommend visiting but this is a great itinerary for first timers. There's also a link to a map attached where you have all places pinned so that when you walk around town you can see which places are nearby.

For this road-trip it would be ideal if you could fly to and from Zürich to return the car at the same spot. You can easily start your road-trip to Interlaken/Ticino on the first day and end with exploring Zürich or drive directly to Ticino and do it all backwards,  whatever fits the weather forecast.
